Review: Abducted & Degraded - Staxus 2010

If an adult begins with a discloser that for all intents and purposes state “No actual harm was done to any of the models in this feature and they performed willingly” then the film can go one of two ways; this is utter crap and so melodramatic that it will be a disappointment, or brace yourself, this is a challenging film.

Abducted & Degraded falls into the latter statement and no matter how much I tried to brace myself having a rough idea of what to expect from the cover of the DVD, I failed to do brace myself thoroughly enough and as a result I spent the next two hours being terrified out of my mind yet engrossed in one of the most horrific pieces of adult cinema I have ever seen. This film is firstly frightening, a Twinks worst nightmare to say the least, and secondly fabulous, every scene living up to the challenge issued by the discloser preceding the movie itself. To be totally honest with you, I have no fucking idea how this film passed the censors board and wasn't banned, it really is as vile and disturbing as the tittle promises and its only saving grace is the piss poor pornographic acting from some of the models. Needless to say I love to loathe this film but paradoxically I loathe to love it.

SYNOPSIS
The basic outline of the film is Ash & Frank set off for a new job in a new town which has been recommended by a trusted friend. On arriving in to town, the two lads are put up in a pretty hotel room overnight ready to start working the next day. Ashton (or ash) begins to feel uneasy about his new surroundings in this “ugly” town but settles down beside Francisco to sleep for the night. Real good call by the script writers at this point, we would now be expecting Ash and Frank to get it on right there and then but ash tells us with the voice over “ if it was any other town we would have sex but not in this town” in other words not in this film. There is absolutely no room for vanilla, box standard fuckery in this flick.

Ash then descends into a deep sleep and begins to dream about the event of the following day where we see the boys get into their car and drive off to some run down factory. Between the hotel and the hell awaiting them is a beautiful piece of editing and cinematography of their journey, whizzing through the traffic with the clouds in the sky cascading and brooding above them and flipping onto a stripped down ash in his briefs being dragged down a dark hallway tied up. Again fabulous screen play with the contrast between the comfort of the colourful hotel room and the coldness and cruelty of the factory. This isn't typical bareback Staxus, this is Staxus at it's most extreme and with Ash's being pulled towards his fate, the viewer is also past the point of no return, abducted ourselves from the comfortable surrounding of the Staxus format to this horrific erotic (and I use that word loosely, but we are talking adult cinema there is some form of erotica in it) hell of a porn film.

PERSONAL VIEWS

It can't be that bad can it? Hmmmm, to compare this film to another, Think an adult version of the Saw films minus the actual killing of the characters and you're more or less at Abduct & Degraded, and that’s not exaggerating either. Nevertheless, as the film continues we are able to scene the models enjoying themselves, smiling from time to time which is a real reassurance that the models are willing participants to this.

I'm not going to ramble on with a scene by scene brake down, with all the ins and out of every erected penis but I will share some of what I find to be the most outrageous moments of this film. For who ever reads this reviews, It is up to you weather or not you wish to take the challenge of this hardcore of hardcore porno after reading this review. Secondly, I don't really want to watch this film again in less than 24 hours of watching the first time just to make notes of every scene. I'm still recovering. In fact after watching this I went in search of comfort between the ass cheeks of Johnny Hazzard in Bolt by Rascal Video (really camp film in it own little way but a pleasant film) and Brent Corrigan 2014 release Dads & Sons (A lovely short and sweet flick, with a tiny cast, huge sex scenes and simple presentation).

Firstly, the role of Alan Capier in Abducted and Degrade is what makes this film the vile beast that it is. Without his performance, it wouldn't be the same and probably end up being a totally different film all together. Alan is the master mind behind it all, the chief tormentor and his ominous presence on screen leaks through the TV and fills the room that you watch it in. The perfect fictional performance. Alan is dressed in black, covered in a trench coat, unruly hair like a mad professor and his make up is a cross between Jason from Friday 13th and Halloween Mike Myers. A hauntingly stunning on screen presence and his sexuality is just as scary from guzzling down his own piss out of a bottle, to being footed (like being fisted but with feet) without any form of preparation (In the latter half of the first sex scenario he comes on screen, downs a massive jar of piss from one of his assistants, pulls his trousers off, covers his victim's foot with a condom and jump straight on it) teasing another “victim” by dragging the blade of a knife down his skin (and I'm pretty sure that’s a real kitchen knife he is using which is either a ballsy move by Vlado Iresch (the guy who conceived the idea for this film and brought it to pass) or a fucking stupid one. )

Personally the knife scene was too much for me as I have a phobia of blades and knifes but it not on for long, quickly over and done with but nevertheless the most uncomfortable moment of that film, and that is saying something compared to some of the crazy sexual mayhem that happens in this film. But Alan is the biggest highlight on this film.

The more erotic side to this film is located in the second and final scenes. I find it arousing to watch a guy have fresh candle wax dripped on his naked body. Hurts like shit so I've been told by my former fuck buddy / best friend (Still have the friendship and the sex thing has passed by now) but its playful, well looks playful on screen and reminded me of Antonio Biagi in TIM's Damaged Goods (A brutal film but not in the same way A&D is, incredibly erotic for a Treasure Island Media work) which is one of my favourite scenes of all time.

One of the most visually terrifying and disturbing scenes which totally blew my mind in adoration of this films is when we Alan pushing a cart full of victims down a foreboding corridor. In this small tiny section of the film which serves as preparation for the next horrific ordeal in the third scenario the way Alan carried himself, pushed the cart, smokes his cigarette strategically placed in his mouth, the other models who lay lifeless on the trolley, the lighting flickers in the background is second to none and really showcases how much effort and thought has gone into this films and an applause should be given to the entire Staxus family here. It is unbelievable.

My closing remarks are this: This film really isn't for the faint of heart, it is a nasty film to watch. You are warned from the get go that although this isn't real and no one was forced to make this film some viewers may find this presentation utterly distasteful and offensive. I enjoy rough porn but there is a hair line between edgy and bad taste and thankfully Staxus navigates its across the hair line to perfection. I wasn't overly aroused by this film sexually but enjoyed the intimidation and fear factor of it all. One of the best films I have seen from this studio and as luck would have it (even if it is a case of bad luck) there is a squeal Busted & Abused which I'm unsure about wether or not I want to watch. I probably will, just at a later date because the first one fried my brains and body enough and still in the recovering process so I'll be watching more tame, vanilla material for a while. Candle wax friend who I mentioned earlier did recommend for me to watch The Hole by Jet Set Productions from 2003, one of his very first downloads which looks hilarious, typical slap stick porn, spoofing the horror film “The Ring”. A very welcome brake from the frightfully delightful and disgusting Abducted & Degraded.

For those who wish to go in search for this film, with all its abusive, pissing, footing, spitting, waxing horror just bear to things in mind.“It's only a movie” and you have been warned twice about this film. From myself and Staxus themselves.

The Porn Collector

To quote the word of Barry W Blaustein "I don't know why I like, I just always have". Barry was referring to the world of wrestling when he said these words in the opening of the controversial wrestling documentary Beyond The Mat. This phrase captures perfectly my relationship with porn, I don't know what it is about these blue movies but I enjoy them.... most of them any ways. Please, let me state from the get go I am not sat at home all day watching them, downloading the lustful lovelies I can be waiting all day and sometimes all week for a film but not watching porn isn't that big I don't think, probably watch about six hours a week. Most of that is out of boredom to be honest.

I have always loved the controversal side of life, the strange characters on TV who flip the finger at the status quo and ballsy enough to say "Fuck it, I'll do it my way", I am one of them people. Not to the point of saying fuck everyone else, I'm very much about embracing everyone else and leaving myself on the outside, but I was never a "Normal" cool kid with friends and girlfriends and popularity and the latest clothing. Nah, I was the wired one that would freak every one else out because I was so unlike them, hence being bullied chronicly through school, and even outside of school by cousins and brothers. We've all grown up and it all water under the bridge but I'm still an oddity and I fucking love it! and those who really know me love it too. But I'm still the cheerleader for the controversal folk, more often than not they are terriably misunderstood or misrepresented by the media or folk tales. Alister Crowley, Anton Levey, Liam Cole , Gaga all these iconic figers of pop culter piss the world off without ever meaning to, just the media know how to press the buttons of the public.

SLAMMED 2012: Jon Phelps (left) Keirsn (right)

Take Liam Cole, the British director of  Treasure Island Media the world most controversial adult entertainment studio today, when he released SLAMMED in September 2012, he was slammed and slatted and shunned like never before. But the people seemed to be missing the point (ironicly). Slammed showcases the antics of Jon Phelps and Kieran (no last name, just Kieran) on some form of substance which is administered through a needle. Yup, this is a chem sex, pnp, drug film.... or is it. Cole never shows the actual drug use, we never Kieran pushing on the needles plunger or snapping off the arm band, and we are never quite sure what is actually in there although it a safe assumption that it is crystal meth. Its all hinted and suggested but the critics of the movie was up in arms "Cole is glorifying the use of drugs!!!!". No he wasn't in fact Cole states that was never the intention. Cole's intention was to document and capture what happens with "sex on chems" which seems to be incredibly popular at the time and still is. Drugs themselves he couldn't care less about, its how they effect sexual activities that captured his and the viewers imagination and curiosity. God bless Cole for having the guts to do it, and fair play, regardless of your stance of drug usage, you have to admit this a crazy but courageous move to produce and stand by that film, and its a masterpiece, potentially timeless and probably still relevant and repulsive 50 years from now as it is today. And this is why I adore and admire guys like Cole who walk into the centre of the world of status quo normality and acceptability and shake it up. Makes life a little more colourful and furthermore, these controversial   visitors cause us to sit down and re think everything we have ever known and from there we either reaffirm our beliefs and thoughts and morals and ethics and politics or we realise how futile they have become in the change of the times and eradicate them.

(Alister Crowley)

Anton LeVay

OK, so Cole really doesn't have that big an impact on philosophical human thought (although sometimes a moral compass is still needed to navigate ones way through his films from time to time) but look at Levey and Crowley who turned Occult theory on their heads and pointed out some of the flaws in it foundational doctrine and when they challenged the normality of their day they get branded as evil people. Crowley is a difficult one, my personal stance is he had the capacity to be an absolute genius and respectable and heeded if his drug usage (which is a different thing back in the early parts of 20th century) didn't pickle his brain and his ego being too big to handle and the who Scotland episode where he abandoned a strict six month occult discipline and ritual just to get his ego stroked wasn't Any help and I believe a major event in his madness. Levey, who many see as picking up when Crowley left of, wasn't a drug using mad man, but a smart deep thinker who read the literature of Crowley and other magical writings, took a step back, saw the bigger picture and documented his thoughts and theories in "The Satanic Bible" which isn't as malicious or cruel as one might first think (Again, because the media has misrepresented and misquoted him) but is a fabulous philosophical text to read.

I begrudgingly tip my hat to Martin Luther the reformer who stood up and challenged the authority and theology of the Catholic church 16th Century. Even to return to the wrestling world, Paul Heyman in the 90s shook up a dormant wrestling industry with Extreme Championship Wrestling with its violent matches and risky storyline of lesbianism and with the Sandman's real life son denying any relationship to him. Controversy is everywhere in all forms of life but what more controversial, more dividing, more debated that the world of adult entertainment and pornography? you either love it or you hate it, there is no fence to sit on. The Video Nastys of the 1980's in Britain caused a stir, but that faded away and now folk look back and ask "what was the problem again?" but Porn will never lose the ability to entice and disgust and that's why I like it, no other form of media has the ability to do it,

The Porn Collector blog is a bunch of writings from myself on my views and opinion on the world of Porn, offering reviews, thoughts, fantasies, rants and raves on the world of Adult Entertainment, Why write it in a blog? Didn;t I mention I was bored? 25 and unemployed and fuck am I going to be stuck in a dead in job which I loathe, life is way too short for that and when the right job comes  up then hopefully I'll get it but between now and then, I'll enjoy this fleeting thing called life which passes by all too quickly. And porn is my not so guilty pleasure.

Welcome to my world
